I graduated from the College of Business at UTA with a B.A. in Business Administration and Management. During and after college, I worked for various industries as a project coordinator, then became a teacher, before blossoming into an instructional designer.

Quality learner-centered design consists of 3 important pillars:

1) Questions, questions, questions!

2) Empathy for the learner

3) Consistently asking for and implementing feedback

My diverse background has gifted me with a unique collection of project management, problem solving, and instructional skills.

• As a project coordinator, I organized and streamlined end-to-end processes for projects to increase production and efficiency.

• As a former math instructor, I literally specialized in creative problem solving, data analysis, and process improvement.

• As an employee trainer, I initiated learning solutions that empowered my colleagues with the knowledge, skills and vital resources they needed to thrive each day.

• As a life long learner, I am naturally curious with a growth mindset. I love troubleshooting and I'm always in pursuit of the "how and why" and I view failure as an opportunity to grow!
